I just updated to the most recent release of the Enfold theme and now I can’t seem to “save” any content edits using either the WSIWG or text editor.
For instance, I simply want to replace the code (pasted below*) in the left column (under Brenda’s name).
Note: I’ve simply added some padding around an image within a text block. Try to do the edit yourself (Private login credentials included).
Please advise and thanks!
*CODE TO REPLACE:
<i>Brenda Feis’ first career was as a defense-side employment litigator and equity partner at the international law firm Seyfarth Shaw, representing Fortune 100 companies in a wide array of employment disputes. When she decided to “switch sides,” she launched her plaintiff-side career as a partner at a nationally preeminent civil rights class action boutique, before founding FeisGoldy LLC with her partner, Jill Goldy, in 2014. As a plaintiff-side employment lawyer with a deep understanding of the employer’s decision-making process, Ms. Feis has advised hundreds of senior management-level employees faced with difficult employment situations, helping them develop successful strategies to navigate a solution. Ms. Feis is a tenacious advocate who has obtained substantial outcomes for individual employees in both litigation and pre-litigation settings. She has tried numerous cases to verdict for both sides with 100% success.</i>
<i><i>Ms. Feis has been consistently recognized as an Illinois Leading Lawyer in Employment Law for both management and employees, and is a fellow in the distinguished College of Labor & Employment Lawyers. She is a recent appointee to the EEOC’s Select Task Force on the Study of Harassment in the Workplace.</i></i>
<i>In addition to practicing law, Ms. Feis also serves as a neutral in investigations and teaches employment litigation at Loyola Law School. She is also a frequent lecturer on employment law issues, particularly sexual harassment and retaliation, and has conducted extensive sexual harassment training throughout the country. Her lectures in this area include presentations at the American Bar Association Equal Employment Opportunity Committee annual meeting, the ABA National Institute on Sexual Harassment, the National Employment Law Institute, the Practising Law Institute, the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the Chicago Bar Association, Northwestern University Law School Feminist Symposium, Chicago-Kent College of Law Sexual Harassment Forum, and numerous professional society and client symposia. </i>
<i>Ms. Feis is a member of the board of trustees of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and the advisory board of the Family Action Network (FAN), and previously served on the boards of Midwest Young Artists and Jewish Vocational Services. She is also an active supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association and the Weitzmann Institute of Science.</i>

I see your problem, could you try to disable all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict please?
Thanks,
RikardDecember 7, 2015 at 9:33 pm #548302Already tried that. In fact, ALL of the plugins are disabled now. Still, the option to save in this theme does not work. (I am looking to add pudding around an image in the first column. Try yourself to make this edit on the page referenced above:

December 8, 2015 at 6:45 am #548533Hey!
Thank you for the info but we are still not sure what’s causing the issue on your installation. What is the current version of php in your server? Please ask your hosting provider to provide the php info page and disable the GoDaddy panel in the dashboard temporarily.
Best regards,
IsmaelDecember 8, 2015 at 5:20 pm #548856Attaching PHP info and the godaddy dash, I just noticed. Will try to scrub that away now…
December 9, 2015 at 12:55 am #549358UPDATE: I spoke to Godaddy (Consequently, they speak highly of the Enfold theme and my tech had personally used it with no issues on GoDaddy Managed WordPress hosting)…and they said (regarding the “GoDaddy Settings”) that those ARE NOT tied to the function of the theme and they cannot “remove” the Godaddy interface.
They did re-build the database for me and I’m STILL having the issue as described here.
Please advise! THX
December 10, 2015 at 2:30 pm #550401Hey!
Have you tried separating the text block text? the issue may be caused because of the length of it.
Best regards,
JosueDecember 10, 2015 at 5:09 pm #550556At your suggestion, I tried separating the paragraphs. It simply does not work.
Please try for yourself to see how this simple function behaves. Thanks.
December 13, 2015 at 3:33 am #551544Hey!
Thank you for the info but we are actually asking for the php info page where you can see the php settings, not the phpmyadmin or the database. You can actually create your own: https://ph.godaddy.com/help/finding-your-accounts-php-version-using-phpinfo-5073
It’s weird that we cannot delete the text blocks or any other element in that particular page. Please delete the current page then recreate it from scratch. Replace the <i> tag with the <span style=”font-style: italic;”> tag. And please update the theme to the latest version, 3.4.6.
Best regards,
IsmaelDecember 14, 2015 at 9:47 pm #552623Thanks, Ismael. Will get this gathered. Please keep this thread open until resolved. —g
