    I am building my site of of the enfold2017 demo content.

    When I go to customize > Widgets, it shows two sections which are empty: Footer – column1 & Footer – column2. Similarly when I go to the Appearance > Widgets page the Footer – column1 & Footer – column2 widgets are empty.

    However on my actual page it is adding in
    column 1:
    INTERESTING LINKS
    Here are some interesting links for you! Enjoy your stay :)
    column 2:
    [a big list of all pages]

    When I actually add something else to the Footer – column1 & Footer – column2 those things above are replaced. But I don’t want those in the footer. How can I get rid of them? Does the footer have to have something?

    Hey jauyong,

    If you don’t have any content then it will show default demo content, you could add empty widgets if you like. If you don’t want to show a footer then you can select to not show it in the Layout menu for each page, or under Enfold->Footer.
