    Hi,

    I am having issues with the front page of my site ( http://www.rafaelfilm.org ) It is the front page only that is doing this…
    When I attempt to add any element, the structure is completely lost and the top color section extends the length of the page. Rather than elements fall properly into place, upon ‘updating’ the page all hell breaks loose and a box appears with the following notation: [/av_one_third]

    I am not a developer, so I do not understand what is going wrong, nor how to fix it.

    Thanks in advance for any advice/assistance you can offer…

    Hey betty!

    First try deactivating all active plugins in case there is a conflict with one of them and the theme. Even things like Jetpack and its extensions can cause issues.

    After, if you are still having issues try creating a new page and then duplicating the home pages layout manually. Its a bit of extra time but if there is something incorrectly saved in the database entry for the home page you can cut to fix of re-creating the page and move past it that way.

    I have re-created the page and am adding elements carefully, checking each time to see if the issue is replicated. So far, all is well…

    Glad to hear it! If you do happen to find any particular element that causes something to break let us know. We will always continually add in fixes for bugs if they are ever found :)
