Hey, I can’t seem to access the wp-admin page on my website in order to update the theme. I received an email saying a theme update was released. Can you please help me?
April 22, 2016 at 12:26 am #619440Hi, here is some follow up information. I contacted my hosting company and they ran a bunch of tests and could not access the dashboard either.
Before I made this website live, I actually built it on another domain name as a test. The same issue is occurring with the other domain name, which is actually on a different hosting plan, so it seems like the problem could be with the theme.
Please help as soon as possible.

April 23, 2016 at 9:01 am #620419Hey!
Please delete the .htaccess from the main site folder and let us knwo if that solves the issue.
If not, contact your hosting provider, they have access to a log, which they can see and help us debug the issueCheers!
BasilisApril 23, 2016 at 10:21 pm #620664Hi there, the website is back up, but I still cannot access the wp dashboard. I have updated the theme per your instructions?
April 26, 2016 at 2:32 pm #622160Hi!
we haven’t heard from anyone about this issue. To me it seems that your WordPress installation is corrupt, so please reinstall WP completely.

AndyApril 26, 2016 at 2:58 pm #622193I had wp instealled via godaddy, not manually. I had it installed on two different hosting plans and on two different urls.
I built the site on one url, then after it was done testing, I re-directed it to the live site.
Both have the same exact problem. How could the wp installation be the problem?
