Hi, I have update Enfold via FTP, but the website looked wrong, so I copied the previous version back via FTP again. Now it looks also wrong but in a different way and I cannot access the backend anymore. I use a child theme.
I get this message:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method avia_sc_post_metadata::popup_key() in /homepages/9/d303803685/htdocs/website_wp/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/post_metadata/post_metadata.php:150 Stack trace: #0 /homepages/9/d303803685/htdocs/website_wp/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/shortcode-template.class.php(452): avia_sc_post_metadata->popup_elements() #1 /homepages/9/d303803685/htdocs/website_wp/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/shortcode-template.class.php(66): aviaShortcodeTemplate->extra_config() #2 /homepages/9/d303803685/htdocs/website_wp/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/post_metadata/post_metadata.php(72): aviaShortcodeTemplate->__construct(Object(AviaBuilder)) #3 /homepages/9/d303803685/htdocs/website_wp/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/template-builder.class.php(1207): avia_sc_post_metadata->__construct(Object(AviaBuil in /homepages/9/d303803685/htdocs/website_wp/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/post_metadata/post_metadata.php on line 150So either with new Enfold version or with previous one, there is a problem. How can I fix it?
Update: I renamed the file /themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/post_metadata/post_metadata.php and I can access the backend again. But it cannot the solution, right? So what could be the solution?
I would like to actually install the latest Version of Enfold because I hope to solve some WPML issues.
Please could someone have a look, I put all info in the private content area.

September 11, 2020 at 4:06 am #1245043Hey CM_Dyn,
Thanks for the login details. I see that you are running an old version of WordPress and I’m not sure if the latest version of the theme is fully compatible with that version. Could you try updating to WordPress 5.5.1 please? If that doesn’t make any difference then please try to delete all instances of Enfold of your site, then upload a fresh version downloaded from your Themeforest account. Make sure that you have backups of the site before you attempt this.
Best regards,

I don’t know why WordPress updates were disabled…with the new version I could update Enfold. But I also had to set PHP to 7.4 to get rid of the error message on the homepage.
Thank you!September 11, 2020 at 4:11 pm #1245174Hi CM_Dyn,
We’re glad that it’s fixed. :)
