I really like the Team Member profile :)
The only catch is: I’d like the team member photos to link over to another page.
I won’t need any icons (such as fb, etc.. on the photo) I’d just like to be able to click on their photo and link over to another page.
How can I set that up?
Hi,
Actually, you can insert the team member images on the Team Member Description field. Insert the Team Member element but don’t insert a Team Member Image..
<a href="www.yoursite.com"><img src="http://localhost/kriesi/enfold/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/21.jpg"></a>
Description here.
The downside is the image will be at the bottom of the team member name.
Regards,
Ismael
Thanks for your help. Text on top doesn’t look very clean.. is there anyway to keep the text at the bottom of the image?
Hey!
Sorry thats not really possible without php file modification which I dont really recommend. I would recommend to simply insert a single icon like a forward pointing arrow and add the link to that page to this icon :)
Has almost the same effect ;)
Cheers!
Hi Kriesi,
Thanks for your reply :)
I’d like to try the php file modification, I really like the design you have for the team members exactly as it is, the only thing is I really want the team member images to be clickable so it can link directly to the team member’s profile page.. I’m making this site so patient’s can learn more about surgeons so that’s a core component of our site.. our users are used to clicking photos and expecting more info that way.
How can I do this?
I’m sorry but this php modification would require a lot of work and is beyond the scope of our support forum. If you want to link an image of a member to a profile page use the “Media Elements > Image” element and apply a link to it which points to the profile page. It will give you a similar result.
