    Hello Rikard
    Thank you for your answer.
I sent the login data privately.
My english is not really good, but I try it anyway.
I had the enfold theme installed. Then the child theme. But I did not read that I have to make some settings in the child theme or in the function.php file still a code must be inserted.
I started building the website until a problem occurred.
In the child theme under ‘general styling’ I tried to change the colors of the main contend heading or the footer.
In the preview has worked well but not on the website itself.
at https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes I have then taken the code for the function.php and inserted.
also some files from the enfold theme to the enfold child theme pushed over.
Unfortunately, that still does not work.
Can you help me with that?

    Freddy

    Hallo Freddy,

Thanks for the login details. I’m not sure if I understand the problem you are having though; are the settings from your parent theme not applying or are the changes you are making in the child theme not applying? If the settings in the child theme are not applying then please try to clear the cache from your caching plugin and try to leave it deactivated to see if that helps. When to not use a caching plugin

    LG,

    Hi Rikard

So I’m trying to change the settings on the child team. I had already tried this with the cache plugin. I had it disabled. But unfortunately that does not help.

As example:I tried to change the footer heading color. But it stays on white and does not turn orange.

    What can I do?
    LG Freddy

    Hi Freddy,

I turned off file compression and deleted the old files under Enfold->Performance and it’s working now. Please have that turned off as well until you are finished with your site.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
