Forgive me .. I am a brand new web designer and ENFOLD user. I have a very good experienced mentor but he is having this problem too on his web pages. He is stymied so I am turning to you guys.
I have a page which has many objects on it and I want to insert a new object (ie. 1/1) near the bottom of the page. So I click on the object and attempt to drag it to the desired spot. I can get to the bottom of the screen and can go no further .. the page does not scroll so I can get to the right place.
My workaround has been to double click on the 1/1 so it goes to the bottom and then keep moving it up until I get it where I want it,
It is very frustrating. My browser is Google Chrome.
Can anyone help?
Thank You.
Alan

Clicking on it so that it ends up at the bottom is likely the easiest solution to be honest with you. If you want us to have a closer look then please include admin login details in private, and point out on which page you are having this problem on.

RikardApril 8, 2020 at 4:46 pm #1201951To reproduce the problem Rickard … go to WordPress ..(see credentials below)
Go to Page called HOME and you will notice that there are many objects on the page. Select any new object (ie. another 1/3), click on it and try to drag it to a place that is not currently visible on the screen (ie. below the current viewing level).
If you can reproduce the problem, you will notice that when you drag to the bottom of the screen, it will go no further … the screen will not scroll to allow the drag to move to the correct area.
My browser is Google Chrome .. don’t know if that makes a difference.
As additional information … I am a noobie when it comes to ENFOLD but my mentor is not and has designed many web pages using ENFOLD. He can reproduce this problem and says it used to work fine on earlier versions.
Thanks for help with this ..

Thanks for that. First off, could you try switching to the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options please? If that doesn’t make any difference then can you please try if the same thing happens if you use a different browser?
Best regards,
RikardApril 11, 2020 at 4:11 pm #1202940First of all, problem is reproducable with the Microsoft Explorer browser.
Second, the problem does goes away by switching to the classic editor. What is the difference between the two editors?
Thank You.

April 12, 2020 at 8:02 am #1203054Hi Alan,
I can reproduce the problem on my end using Chrome, but only when the Block Editor is active. When the Classic Editor is activate then I’m having no problems. I can’t test on IE since I’m on OSX, but I’ll be happy to tag someone with a Windows machine so that they can test as well. This problem has been reported to our developers and they are working on a fix for it. Could you try using the Classic Editor for now?
There’s no difference between the two editors when working with the theme Layout Builder, except for some differences in the graphic interface.
Best regards,
Rikard -
