    Hi all,

    First of all I have to say that I have no Web Coding experience.

    Please have a look in : http://detaysolar.com/projects

    This is a sample page to explain.
    On the page there is a Portfolio Grid and A Drop-down List (I found the Java code on web).

    In the Drop-down List Portfolio Catecories will be listed. I need to refresh the site with the selected Portfolio Category Filtered.

    Is there a way to do this easily (Calling the site with a predefined value of Content Category selection) ? If no I’ll make a seperate page for each Portfolio Category and call that page depending on the selection in Drop-down List

    PS:
    For now unrelevant pages are called by Drop-down List. Please ignore

    yes have a look to this page on enfold demo: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/portfolio-shortcode/ (All / CSS/ HTML / PHOTOGRAPHIE / PSD / VIDEO)
    on top you see that it is possible to have this on enfold per default option (sort options with active taxonomie)
    so if you are not insisting on your pull-down menu it might be a possibility for you

    Hi all,

    first of all thanks to everybody,

    the problem starts at that point. I wont use Sort Options. Because I’ll have several categories so it will be really crowded.

    It would be better to explain with my actual pages

    these are my pages for displaying my portfolio. The first line is to display ALL and the other two are to display only one category.

    As you may see I’m copying same page for every additional category and only changing “Which categories should be used for the portfolio?” in my portfolio grid.

    Upon user selection If I had a way to refresh the site with “Which categories should be used for the portfolio?” variable set to user selection and refresh the site it would be easier. But I can understand that that this will absolutely need development.

    Better I’ll go on using different pages for every category.

    Above the Portfolio links there is a line with select option : (These are the portfolio categories; or in case of category – the category names)
    click on one option (CSS)

    I think this is what you want to obtain.
