Hi, I’m all of a sudden having an issue with the builder element – button. I went to edit my clients existing button (worked as it should when the site launched) and when I opened the button in edit mode it appears to be a Table. That’s right…the builder element ‘Table’. The button shows fine…only when you click edit…you can’t edit the button at all.
I then noticed that all of the buttons are like this and trying to add a new button did the same thing.
Any ideas?
Here is the site: https://openfin.co the button I am trying to edit is as the bottom “view all blog posts’.
February 22, 2016 at 4:58 am #586810Hi Slade,
Wow, that’s weird. Did you make any changes to the theme files at all? Please try deactivating all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict, if that is not the case then you could try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

I have deactivated all plugins which didn’t help and I then uploaded a fresh copy of Enfold that didn’t help either.February 24, 2016 at 3:43 pm #588429Hi!
overwriting files might not be enough. Delete them all at first completely via FTP. Then get a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Very weird issue and I can’t reproduce it on my end. Check if it is happening on another computer as well.
Cheers!

Sorry for the delayed response. I got really busy on another project and sort of forgot about this until recently when the client started asking again.
I just now deleted the Theme folder using ftp and then uploaded a freshly downloaded version. Odd…we are still getting the same issue. When clicking on a button to edit…the “edit table” modal opens instead. The modal title still says Button but the content is definitely that of a table.
April 6, 2016 at 4:40 am #608642Hi,
Could you try to delete the element and recreate it to see if that helps maybe?

RikardApril 6, 2016 at 6:28 am #608683Hi Rikard,
All of the buttons not the site do this same thing. AND…when I insert a brand new Button element…it is also the same. See screenshot.April 8, 2016 at 4:09 am #609971Hi!
I’m not sure what’s going on there but try to remove the shortcodes/table.php file then test the builder again.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 8, 2016 at 5:05 am #609988Hi Ismael! I’m a little hesitant to do this. We have several tables through the site. Will doing this mess with the existing Tables?
