Hello,
With a school website I am working on I have come upon a minor issue that is only appearing when the website is viewed in Mozilla Firefox.
The webpage I am referring to is: https://bit.ly/3ivLBbf
I am using a button to change between an English version and French version of the Welcome webpage. If you click on the red button beneath the picture slider and keep the mouse pointer at the same place, when the other version of the page comes up you will see a link arrow in a circle appear to the left of the button. This doesn’t happen on any other browser. This seems to be caused by having the flag image in the button label. If the image is not there then it doesn’t happen.
What can I do so this hover action doesn’t cause the link arrow to come up in Mozilla Firefox?
Many thanks,

Could you please attach some screenshots of the issue?

Thanks for your response. As I mentioned in my original post this issue is only happening in Mozilla Firefox. As I couldn’t do a screen crab as I would lose the issue if I moved the mouse I just took a photo with my smart phone. My apologies that the shot isn’t clearer.
The photo shot is at this link: https://bit.ly/2GFxMtQ
If I go to https://bit.ly/3ivLBbf and press the French Translation button under the slider and not move the mouse pointer this issue appears once the French page comes up. It will then happen every time the button is pressed and the mouse is not moved from hovering over the button.
Let me know if you need any further information.

Just to let you know the photo I took was using FF on a Windows machine. Your screencast has at least eliminated this issue with FF on a Mac. The issue I have encountered was definitely with FF on a Windows machine. The other browsers I have tested have been on a Windows machine or via a smart phone.

I will ask my colleagues to check on a Windows machine.
