Tagged: Buttons
So I have two buttons on my homepage. Google analytics says someone clicked a button from this page. But I don’t know which button they clicked. Is there a way to add an ID to the buttons? Promo Box buttons? The regular theme content element buttons? My client doesn’t want to use the theme because of this but I’m sure there’s a way to track this?
Thanks,
Tonya
Hey tonyaleigh,
Could you please give us a link to your website, we need more context to be able to help you.

Is no one going to answer my question?
Hi,
Did you read Victorias reply? Where can we see the elements? What do you need to add to them?
Best regards,
Rikard
I sent the link to my website in the private content area. I’m asking if you can add an id to any button as it says in my original question.
Hi,
I can’t see anything in private in this thread, please send it again. We need to see the actual element in order to give you an accurate answer.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
Please install the plugin called ” WordPress Event Tracking ” and then based on the unique id or class of that button
you will be sending events back to the application.
