This is happening on both iphone and ipad in both Firefox and Chrome.
Works fine when burger is needed on laptop though.

    Hey gatehealing,
I see that you are getting a javascript error, try disabling Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ JS & CSS file merging and compression and enable Enfold Theme Options ▸ Performance ▸ Delete old CSS and JS files then clear your device cache a few times and check again.
Please note that testing with iPads & iPhones can be hard to clear the cache, often you need to also clear the history to fully purge the cache, following these steps for Safari and note Step 4 where you will Clear the History.

    Best regards,
    Mike

When I clear browsers, I use the Clear Everything setting so it wipes out all history and purges all caches. I don’t use Safari. I mainly use Firefox and Chrome as a backup or 2ndary browser to test on).

My ahrefs is showing 5 broken javascripts on 134 pages. They are all /…/dynamic-avia/ type errors–this is in a different thread with y’all. I don’t know if this javascript issue could be part of the problem?

Oh, we switched to Enfold compression/merging due to WPFC’s versions of this was screwing things up. Am I to disable, clear everything then re-enable it? Or are you thinking that I’ll need to leave teh Enfold compression/merging off?

    Hi,
It sounds like my suggestion worked, so typically when using caching plugins the issue is having the files minified twice, due to the nature of minifing which tries to remove blank spaces and semicolons, but on the second time around things break.
I recommend only using one system to minify, perhaps the theme and then only use WPFC to cache, or the other way, whatever you prefer.
I also recommend waiting to cache when your site is done, that way you are not struggling with the cache while you are still building.

    Best regards,
    Mike

I do only use the theme to minify and WPFC to cache. Delete old js and css files stays enabled. . .should I disable it?

Regarding waiting till my site is done, that’s an ongoing project right now as I try to figure out my ranking issues that are not making sense to anybody. And some of these issues, like the burger menu issue, were not happening for the past month when I wasn’t changing anything other than some layout elements and text in specific pages. My site structure is basically done in terms of design and where everything is located.

    Hi,
I would leave it enabled, and double check your WPFC, as I recall the minify was not on the main settings panel, if you do have it disabled then good.
I’m glad to hear that your site is basically none, I was only making this suggestion to help as I didn’t know where you are in your process.
So if it is all set now shall we close this thread then?

    Best regards,
    Mike

I do recall something being buried, but it may have been on that other plugin I had, but minification is on the front tab of WPFC.

Ya, we can close this ticket. . . I’ll come back if it recurs

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Ok, since you have it installed you are certainly correct, I have not looked at WPFC for quiet a while, nonetheless I think you get my general points about issues when you have multiple things minifing, compressing, & merging the same files, it’s just something to keep in mind.
Anyways glad that this is sorted out, if you have any further questions please create a new thread and we will gladly try to help you. Thank you for using Enfold.

    Best regards,
    Mike
