I have updated Enfold on a number of sites and have not run into this problem, but after updating https://jimware.com/ to 4.1.2, when I go down to tablet and smartphone screen sizes the burger appears, but it does not work and the main navigation menu does not disappear.
Yes, I am running WP 4.8, and all of the plugins are updated, and I tried deactivating all of them – which had no effect. I have changed the menu and heading settings all different ways which also had no effect. I have cleared all browser and server caches, which had no effect.
I am not running a child theme and I have only one, very simple and completely irrelevant, line in the quick css box.
I have tried php 7.1, 7.0 & 5.6, all of which had no effect.
Please advise.
I found the problem: even though the main nav menu was still displaying where it belonged, “Enfold Main Menu” as the menu display location had become unchecked. Once I checked it everything started working fine.
