    Hi there,
    we’re using Enfold for years now and so far it’s an awesome theme.
    Recently, however, an unknown error appears.
    Following errors appear when the animation of the gallery is active. You can see here: https://dev.schnittkammer.de/deichmann/
    Issue 1: If you scroll into viewport the last three images of the gallery under the big featured image move a bit back and forth.
    Issue 2: If you set up a masonry gallery with no space between gallery items and active animation the images still have a 1px gap and on hover, the images flicker a bit.

    What we have done so far:

    • check console errors -> no errors found
    • deactivate all plugins -> issues still there
    • check images sizes

    Is this maybe a well-known issue with the animation? However could you please check what causes the errors?

    Thank you in advance.

    Kind Regards
    Sebastian

    Hi Sebastian,

    Thanks for the link, though I can’t see anything like that on my end using Chrome. In which browser and version are you seeing that?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

    thanks for the reply.

    We use the Chrome browser Version 72.0.3626.121. We could also adjust this in the FireFox (latest version).

    Funny thing is that issue 1 only appears below 2K resolution.

    Thanks so far
    Sebastian

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update, I’m using that exact same version on a 13″ laptop but I still can’t see any flickering on my end. Are you sure that it’s not a local problem?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

    the issue was noticed by one of our customers.
    We tested that and were able to replicate the issue in several browsers.

    Are you also not seeing the movement of the upper gallery items?

    The flicker issue and the 1px gap are not visible on every resolution. Maybe you can test that on a larger device?

    Thanks
    Sebastian

    Hi Sebastian,

    I have checked it and though I could not figure out what’s causing since there are no js errors.
    The issue seems to be triggered by the animation in the navigation on the header, if it transitions those images also move a bit.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko,

    thanks for the reply.

    So we found the cause?! Do you have any solution for this?

    Hi Sebastian,

    Can you try adding this css code in Quick CSS (located in Enfold > General Styling):

    @media only screen and (min-width:1300px) {
    #top.page-id-3480 #av-masonry-1 .av-masonry-container a.av-masonry-entry {
        position: static !important;
      }
    }

    Let us know if this helps.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko,

    no changes. The issue is still there.
    I guess no one will see this but our customer is very accurate so we need to fix this.

    Thanks
    Sebastian

    Hi emilconsor,

    Can you try to make a backup then remove the modifications on the header? then check, the issue should most likely be removed since we could not reproduce the same issue on our end.
    Then try to add the modifications one by one or probably a chunk of several codes to find out which specific code caused the issue.

    @Guillaume I don’t see the issue when I checked on your site, how do I trigger this issue on your site?

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko,

    what kind of modification do you mean? CSS? I guess we only changed some background color and font sizes.

    Thanks
    Sebastian

    @Nikko When you trigger the filters (Tout, Bâtiment or Nautisme) at the “NOS REALISATION” section. The end of the animation is a little buggy. (Im on chrome / Windows 10)

    I see, Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    5. Click ” Submit “.

    Hi newpfr,

    Can you create a new thread and do the same as Sebastian? since private data is visible not only to the moderator but thread creators as well.
    I think your issue has some similarities but not totally the same.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Sebastian,

    The login url provided by the plugin should look something like this: http://website.com/wp-admin/?wtlwp_token=5b6150bef0f6c2e5e55d9a3af1d42da1
    And it does allows direct access to the wp-admin dashboard.

    Best regards,

    Hi Sebastian,

    Thanks for the admin access.
    I duplicated the page with the issue, removed the image from the textblock and used an image element instead.
    I then tried to use the same image and the issue was still there but when I changed the image to something else, the issue doesn’t show anymore.
    It’s hard to figure out what’s exactly triggering this issue, maybe you can try to re-upload the image or maybe crop it?

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko,

    sadly no changes… but we figured out some other solution without using theme shortcodes.
    We’re now using WordPress standard gallery. No fancy shit happens here but we don’t have any issues.

    Maybe you can still figure out what triggers the problem so we maybe can use theme gallery in the future :)

    Thanks
    Sebastian
