Hi,
Every time I run WP Updates to upgrade plugins I get the following php warning, note the path error coming from your theme layerslider (I’m not sure why it runs when I do plugin updates):
Warning: fopen(/testing.dev/wp-content/plugins/testing.dev/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/layerslider.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /testing.dev/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4848
Warning: fread() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /testing.dev/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4851
Warning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /testing.dev/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4854
I’m using WordPress 4.9.8 and the latest version of Enfold 4.5
I couldn’t find where to report bugs on your forum and it says you don’t read ThemeForres Emails anymore, so I’m reporting it here, please forward to the appropriate person.
Hey,
Thanks for contacting us!
Please make sure you are using PHP 5.6 or higher. I believe after upgrading your PHP version (preferably to PHP 7.x) you will not experience such issue.
If you have any other questions or issues, please register to our support forum – https://kriesi.at/support/register/ and start a new thread under Enfold sub forum :)
Regards,
Yigit
Hi, yes, I confirm we are using PHP 5.6.
Hi,
Could you ask your hosting provider to upgrade at php version 7.0 so we can check it out?
Best regards,
Basilis
