BUG?; Enfold putting Resized images in Incorrect WP upload folders

I am really aghast at the amount of additional resized files (15-16 ! )that this theme produces ! Most of them are unnecessary or unneeded depending on what parts of the theme you need to use. I am now trying to investigate what can be cut back.

My bigger question is why is Enfold throwing the images that I am uploading to WordPress today 8/2014 into folders for 2011 ? This seems very odd and peculiar…

Here is screen shot showing 8/15 images in a 2011 folder. It is really difficult to troubleshoot why this theme resizes when I can’t tract down my images and when I do they are in old folders.

This has only been an issue with Enfold

What gives?
