I have observed that when my website is viewed on mobile devices in Safari or Firefox, background images in some sections attach themselves as images for the whole page. If the background and text do not work together, the page becomes unreadable.
If you look at my site’s home page in Chrome, everything looks fine. However, if you switch to Firefox, you will see an image that belongs to the section “interested? submit your details and we will get in touch!” is displayed as fixed background image for the page making the text on the homepage unreadable. In Safari, the same background image is not picked up so the form is unreadable.
Can you please advise how I can fix the issue?
Many thanks!
December 24, 2015 at 8:03 am #557381Hi Toolkit,
Could you try to update to the latest version of the theme, 3.4.7, to see if that helps? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,
RikardDecember 30, 2015 at 2:15 pm #558431Hi Rikard,
I have tried upgrading the theme like you suggested.
Now I know that line 504 in section.php (../enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/section.php) is responsible for displaying my troubled sections. When I apply the new code from version 3.4.7, my background images do not show completely. All pages that use this section look broken.
Can you please take another look and let me know what you think.
Many thanks!

i found a workaround for my website, which detects firefox and switches back to scroll mode. Maybe this helps here as well:

I have created an admin account for you on our site. Login details are attached.
In addition to paralax images becoming sticky on mobile, the following code breaks the first section on our features pages. No contents displayed, just the background colour.
file: framework/php/class-sidebar-generator.php
This line appears to cause the problem.
// $args['id'] = avia_backend_safe_string($sidebar,'-');
Looking forward to your assistance.
