I have encountered an issue with Enfold Avia Catalogue items. The webmaster is trying to work on catalogue items on http://nyt-hesteliv.dk/nyhedsbreve-2014/ and several item have disappeared so that she can not see them in the backend, but on the frontend – and vice versa. Also, she has inserted links – and they end up displaying like half of the links showing in the text instead of being links in the text. They have been inserted as manual links.
I tried setting up the links – and it works. So now I am wondering if it can be a browser issue?
I use Mac/Safari and she uses PC/Google Chrome.
Have anyone else experienced anything like that?
Extra info: We are using PHP 5.6 – it used to be higher, but we had catalogue trouble back in january and downgrading PHP helped.
PS I know the site is very slow. We have ordered af hosting upgrade…

Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please point out how and where we can reproduce the problem.

One problem:
On http://nyt-hesteliv.dk/nyhedsbreve-2014/ there are 70 items.
If you look at the same page in backend, there are 79 items.Another problem:
When webmaster sets up an item and inserts a link via the “Set manually” function, when she saves and publishes, the link is not active and half of the link is shown in the text on the item in the front end.
It happened to me a few times, but the last couple of tries at my end did not make that error.Third:
When catalogue is opened, the letters in the text at the top of the pop up box is pressed together.August 22, 2017 at 6:33 am #842324Hi,
Thank you for the info.
I can’t inspect the element in the page because I’m losing connection to the advance layout builder due to the following error.
Uncaught TypeError: a[b].target.className.indexOf is not a function
at Vt.u.ti (eval at xhr.onreadystatechange (:318:9), :395:321)Please ask your hosting provider to increase WP_MEMORY_LIMIT to at least 256M and upgrade PHP to version 5.6.
Best regards,
IsmaelAugust 22, 2017 at 3:37 pm #842605The PHP version is already 5.6.
I just talked to the hosting provider and they offer way more than 256M but say that WP sometimes sets its own limit. I got a guide explaining how to check/change it, so I will try to figure that out…

CamillaAugust 23, 2017 at 8:00 am #842897Hi,
Please let us know if it fixes the issue. You can add this code in the wp-config.php file.
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
Or add the following codes in the .htaccess file.
memory_limit = 256M upload_max_size = 64M post_max_size = 64M upload_max_filesize = 64M max_execution_time = 300 max_input_time = 1000

IsmaelAugust 30, 2017 at 1:58 pm #845785Hi Ismael,
sorry for not getting back sooner. I have now added the line to the wp-config.php file.
One example of the catalogue not working:
In the catalogue on this page: http://nyt-hesteliv.dk/nyhedsbreve-2014/
there is an item called “Skattejagt for børn på nyt Hesteliv”
This is not visible in the frontend. And the link that was originally put in that post is gone – and instead some of it is shown in the post (in the backend):&u=6b7c54670abb75e64f83548ed&id=e6f8958b75′ target=’_blank’]
Lørdag den 25. januar inviterer vi til en sjov og anderledes børnedag på nyt HestelivI am still experiencing very slow loading time of the pages. As in – extremely slow.

&u=6b7c54670abb75e64f83548ed&id=e6f8958b75′ target=’_blank’]
Is that a shortcode?
I am still experiencing very slow loading time of the pages. As in – extremely slow.
Is the site on a shared hosting?

IsmaelSeptember 1, 2017 at 9:46 am #846733It is part of a link that was put in that item earlier. But for some reason it moves into the text instead of the link box and is cut in half… really weird. have never seen anything like it.
Yes, the site is super slow. It is hosted at one.com. We just upgraded to a bigger webhotel solution, but that didn’t help the speed. On the contrary :(

CamillaSeptember 1, 2017 at 10:37 am #846777Hi,
The site is loading really slow because the admin-ajax.php file cannot be fetched correctly. Please disable all plugins then test the site again. If it’s loading faster than before, try to activate the plugins one at a time to find the cause of the issue. We’ll check the original issue again after this test.

IsmaelSeptember 13, 2017 at 4:31 pm #851649Hi Ismael,
I tried deactivating Jetpack because I have heard many say that this can be a problem and the site loaded much faster. I have activated it again for the time being because my client uses the statistics form Jetpack, but you will probably need it deactivated to check? Data is probably not collected while it is deactivated?
I don’t work nearby my client, so deactivating stuff needs coordination…

CamillaSeptember 13, 2017 at 4:39 pm #851654PS I have just suggested that they start using Google Analytics instead….
September 14, 2017 at 8:43 am #851908Hi,
Thank you for the update.
I added an item to the catalogue element and it’s displaying properly. I set the link manually.

IsmaelSeptember 14, 2017 at 2:38 pm #852051Thanks Ismael. I will ask my client to go ahead and try to post again.
September 15, 2017 at 10:12 am #852444September 15, 2017 at 10:16 am #852445Hi Ismael,
my client set up one post and it looked fine. They then tried to add one more, and it failed. They deleted it, but sent me a picture.
Link in private…Best regards,
CamillaSeptember 15, 2017 at 11:09 am #852489Hi,
Alright. Please duplicate the page then re-create the issue. We would like to check it.

IsmaelSeptember 15, 2017 at 1:16 pm #852519Okay :)
September 18, 2017 at 8:01 am #853296Hi Ismael,
we did make a copy of the page – the client tried making posts and the first went well – the following not. But then she wrote to me that she was thinking that maybe the Mailchimp links were causing trouble. I suggested she shortened them by using bitly.com – and it worked.
So apparently something in the Mailchimp newsletter URLs is causing problems…This issue therefore seems to be resolved, but I suggest that someone look into the Mailchimp issue, since others might encounter the same issue.
