Hi everybody.
I have a problem: I’ve updated WP to 4.0 and Enfold to 2.9.2 using ftp.
I need to add a few line in the default editor, but since then it’empty
(in the bottom you can see “word count = 4450” but it’s blank).
If you try to add some line and update the line will simply disappear.
I’ve disabled all plugins, but that wouldnt help.
I’ve checked with default WP themes and everythings works fine.In the theme details it says:
Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.
config-bbpress Stylesheet is missing.
config-Gravity Forms Stylesheet is missing.
config-layerslider Stylesheet is missing.
config-templatebuilder Stylesheet is missing.
config-woocommerce Stylesheet is missing.
config-wordpress-seo Stylesheet is missing.
config-wpml Stylesheet is missing.
css Stylesheet is missing.
framework Stylesheet is missing.
images Stylesheet is missing.
includes Stylesheet is missing.
js Stylesheet is missing.
lang Stylesheet is missing.(I’ve already tried re-updated everything)
Some ideas ?
I really need that…September 11, 2014 at 4:19 pm #317476Hey Sebastiano!
It sounds like when you uploaded the theme files it was done incorrectly.
In your FTP view of the WordPress installation go to wp-content>themes and take a look. It probably shows all of the Enfold themes interior theme files which should have been inside of the enfold folder.
So you’ll want to delete those and then re-upload the enfold folder instead so that it properly updates your theme. You can follow along with the steps in the video here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,
DevinSeptember 11, 2014 at 5:52 pm #317549All right,
this is my theme folder:http://postimg.org/image/rfjdx0rf7/
excluding enfold and twentyfourteen, twentythirteen, twentytwelve
wich folder should i keep?September 11, 2014 at 6:34 pm #317567I’ve tried to keep only the themes folders, updated the site through ftp.
But still the same problem…September 12, 2014 at 2:43 am #317735If you open up the enfold folder and then replace all of its content with the content of the enfold folder from your zip file you’ve downloaded from themeforest then that will bring your theme up to date.
If you watch the video I linked to above I go through the exact steps you take.

September 13, 2014 at 10:50 am #318451Hi!
Please try to deactivate all browser extensions – maybe an extension breaks the editor for you. I just tested your website/editor with Chrome 37 and Firefox on Win8 and I didn’t notice any errors. I.e. I edited the “Hello World” post: http://www.sebastianoferrari.com/hello-world/
Cheers!
PeterSeptember 13, 2014 at 12:22 pm #318487Yes! that works !
I really appreciate your help!
Thanks !Sebastiano
