I have been struggling since a few weeks with my home page. The page shows only 2 revisions (should be many more). If I edit the page and publish it, the revisions still do not change. I even can’t use the preview, because then the content from the demo home page of envold is shown. If I copy the page the copied page shows the exact same behaviour. If i swith to the code editor I see the code from the original envold demo page, but not my content. Can anyone help me getting this page to work?

It is possible that the revisions have been limited to a few items. Please check the wp-config.php file and check the value of WP_POST_REVISIONS. For more info about revisions, please check the documentation below.

We may need to access the site in order to check the issue further. Please provide the login details in the private field, make sure that the Appearance > Editor panel is accessible.

The site is asking for another .htaccess authentication before we can access the actual login or admin page. Please include the info in the private field.

there is no .htaccess login configured. I tried the login from 3 different computers and from 3 different locations, no .htaccess auth. I am no WordPress expert, I attached you the ..htaccess file for more details.Hi,

MikeI just sent the login to two other friends and it works for them too. So i really don’t know what is going wrong on your side.

Perhaps you have Geo IP blocking for countries other than yours? Are your friends in the same country as you?

Thank you, glad you were able to sort that out, I’m not sure why that page is having revision issue, but other pages that I check are showing more revisions.
I see that you are using v4.8.8.1, so please update to v5.1.1
Please try to download the latest version from your Theme Forest account and upload it to your WordPress ▸ Appearance ▸ Themes ▸ Add Themes ▸ Add New
after you choose the zip file and click install, you will see a This theme is already installed message because you are updating, you can continue
then you will see the Theme updated successfully message.

Could you try enabling debug mode, then copy all the shortcodes to a new page to see if that makes any difference please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode. I copied the page for you and made a few changes and then changed back, your page now shows 4 revisions, please clear your browser cache and check.Best regards,
MikeUnfortunately the “Home” page still only has 2 revisions visible (cache cleared, tried on different computer). I also copied the page, if I change the title I get new revisions, if I change only text content sometimes all revisions disappear or count backwards!
What still does not work is the preview of the page, it shows content from the template.
Can you copy the home page to “Home Kriesi” and create revisions there and test the preview please.

I tested the test page linked below and made two small edits and it created two more revisions for a total of six now, I also tested the preview and found no errors.
I’m not sure what is the issue with your homepage but the copy has been working correctly for a month, perhaps you should delete the home page and use the copy.Best regards,

thanks this looks great now.Did you change some settings to get there, because now every page is showing only the the shortcuts in edit mode, e.g. :

If this occurs try clicking on the Advanced Layout Builder button at the top of the page, when I checked the pages open in the Advanced Layout Builder correctly, but sometimes it took an extra minute for the builder to show and the debugger window showed first, perhaps this is what you mean:
but in the end the builder loaded correctly.
I don’t recall if you had Enabled the Avia Layout Builder Debugger of if I did, I can disable it if you wish.
If you mean the first text block with the button shortcode, this was always like this and it is fine to use shortcode like this:
instead of using the shortcode in the text element you could use the notification and button elements, I created a test page for you linked below:
