Hi, I have my blog setup using several categories. For each category I have created a separate page using the” Blog Posts” element from the Avia Layout Builder. The setting are set to use that pages specific category. The issue I’m seeing is when I click on a post from from one of those page and view the page it’s works as expected, except if I click the breadcrumb to go back, it takes me to a default page based on the category and not the page I created. Hope that makes sense.
So the breadcrumb is linked to the category and not the page i created, is there a way to change this so the link goes to the page and not a default category page?
Thanks
Hey Snerp!
Yes, that is how the breadcrumbs work. It would take quite a bit of time and code to change it to link to specific pages based on category. It would be best to hire a freelancer to help you out with this customization.

Do you plan to change this situation? It’s a big issue also for those who use posts to serve different content in different parts of the website. If I new about this problem I’m not sure, I would buy Enfold again. My website has over 320 posts, and not all are “blog”. There are also news, faq’s, etc….
In other themes you can for. ex. build breadcrumbs manually on the post level.
Hi!
@kwlodar, We do this with the portfolio posts. I imagine we could do the same for the regular posts in the future so they can link back to different blog pages. Consider creating a feature request here, https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/, and if it gets enough interest then we may see something get added in a future update.

Done. Anyone will vote for idea?
