    I noticed the breadcrumb feature is missing its parent
    – let me explain – here is a replica of my menu structure (with indents)

    _Home
    _KeyTopic1
    _____KeySubTopic1A
    _____KeySubTopic1B
    _____ KeySubTopic1C
    _KeyTopic2
    _____KeySubTopic2A
    _____KeySubTopic2B
    _____KeySubTopic2C
    _KeyTopc3
    etc……….

    On the KeySubTopic1C page – the breadcrumb shows:
    Home >> KeySubTopic1C

    when I would expect it to show
    KeyTopic1 >> KeySubTopic1C

    since:
    KeyTopic1 IS THE PARENT OF KeySubTopic1C

    OK – thanks – the breadcrumb feature is a must have – for the website I am planning
    – having it follow what exists in the primary Enfold menu item (as an exact blueprint)
    is graetly desired – even if – it should mean I need to wait for an tweak/update**
    – will stay tuned – kind regards

    **BTW – I have some background in code
    – so any suggestion of modifying the functions.php file
    – where breadcrumb code likely resides
    – would suffice for me
    (would modify the child version of theme)

    Thank you for your patience.

    Do you have a test page where we can see the hierarchy of the pages? The parent page should be displayed in the breadcrumb by default. Did you assign a grand parent page or a parent of a parent page?

    Hi jsw_nz,

    The menu that you build and the breadcrumbs are using different functionalities and are not the same. Are the pages hierarchical? The ones you have is the side nav?

    Seems I needed to explicitly set a parent page to the subpage categories
    – breadcrumb now showing navigation correctly
