This may sound like a bizarre request but we purchased the Enfold theme for a client. The CEO of this company (who is nuts) wants to replace everywhere in the Admin where it says “Enfold” to his company’s name. Is this even possible?
Hey ea1971!
Yes, it is. Before uploading the theme edit style.css find this code “Theme Name: Enfold”. Replace with Enfold with Nuts. Just kidding. Anyway, you can actually change Enfold to somethign else. :)
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi,
Following on this post, is there any way to replace “Theme Name: Enfold” after the theme has been uploaded? I tried editing the style.css file as you suggested however when I did it replaced my clients logo on the front-end website with the Enfold logo and knocked out the header styling.
Thanks in advance,
Johnny
Hey Johnny!
Yes, that’s a drawback, WordPress associates the theme settings with the theme name, so if you change it you’d need to re-set them. However you can try importing/exporting it using the export/import tool added in 2.6.2.
