Hi I just bought and installed the latest version of Enfold, which is active, but it takes ages to for example update the prices in woocommerce. I also installed the latest version of woocommerce. Maybe you can have a look at it as this is not working for me. With the WP twentytwenty theme all works well. So this must be an Enfold issue in my opinion.
Thanks.
October 12, 2020 at 3:36 am #1252141Hey Tam68,
Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the login, but your site would not load for me, frontend or backend, if it would load I could check further. Which web host are you using? I can say that this is not how Enfold runs, so there is either a server issue or a IP block for me? I’m in the USA, are you in the Netherlands?
Please check your server error log and also check if you have an IP block.Best regards,

You should be able to log in now.
Thx,
October 15, 2020 at 12:36 pm #1252994Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I was able to login now and the frontend of your site seems to run well, but it still seems to hang on the backend when checking the product variations and prices. In my test, it seems like after trying to check the product variations on the backend, and then leaving and going to the frontend, the site still hangs without an error message.
Have you tried disabling your other plugins to check for a conflict? Also please try checking your server error log for error.Best regards,
MikeOctober 15, 2020 at 1:56 pm #1253017Dear Mike, below the report of the error log.I dont know what this all means…
I will check later today the other plugins.October 16, 2020 at 1:05 pm #1253245Hi,
Thanks for sharing your error log, from what I see you are getting an access denied error from your server formod_qos(067) QS_ClientEventLimitCount rule
Defines the maximum number of requests having the defined environment variables (QS_Limit by default) set allowed within the defined time (default is 600 seconds). Requests from client IP’s reaching this limitation are denied for the specified time (blocked at request level).
Please see these links: QS_ClientEventLimitCount & mod_qos(067)
So my understanding of this is that your mod_qos rules are triggering an event, please try asking your webhost about this as I’m not sure which settings should be changed on your server.Best regards,
MikeOctober 22, 2020 at 2:20 pm #1254986Dear Mike,
I contacted the hosting comp so I will get back to you regarding this. Also I checked other plugins by deactivating them but the problem remained but if I change to twenty-twenty theme all goes well.
October 24, 2020 at 12:26 pm #1255413Hi,
We will leave this open to hear back from you on what your webhost reports.Best regards,
MikeOctober 27, 2020 at 12:38 pm #1256019Dear Mike,
They informed me this means that when there are too many requests from the same IP the site blocks. But it seems to me this is not the case.
Any suggestions? Maybe you can try to see what’s happening when you change the theme and then alter a price.
October 28, 2020 at 1:55 pm #1256377Hi,
Your server error log is showing the mod_qos(067) rule is firing, can they disable this rule or change the threshold for it?
I tried to login again, but your site didn’t load after 5 mins, frontend or backend, this is not how Enfold runs on other servers.
I would recommend disabling your plugins to check for a conflict, or trying a different webhost.
Testing the twenty-twenty theme doesn’t help here.Best regards,
Mike -
