Hi,
I use custom widgets at the bottom of my blog page.
How can I enable an overview of the posts of a certain category instead of the single posts lined up?Best regards

I’m not sure that I fully understand your question, but you can display specific categories of posts using both the Blog Posts and Masonry elements.
Best regards,
RikardMay 28, 2024 at 8:12 pm #1446872Would you tell me how? I can’t figure it out. I guess I want masonry.
I want the site of a certain blog-category to look like the main blog-page, just with the posts of the selected category.May 29, 2024 at 4:53 am #1446905Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Edit the Masonry or Blog Posts element and select the category or term in the Content > Select Entries > Which Entries Should Be Used settings or the Content To Display settings. You can also display posts from different taxonomies, such as post tags, product categories, portfolio categories, etc.
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 29, 2024 at 8:04 am #1446919That’s not, what I was talking about.
I want the category to be displayed as masonry element.
I post you a link to a certain category on private content. You can see all posts of this category lined up one after another. That is NOT what I want. I want a masonry view there.Could I make clear, what I mean?
May 29, 2024 at 1:26 pm #1446941I found what I need. It’s this code in functions.php
add_filter('avf_blog_style','avia_change_category_blog_layout', 10, 2); function avia_change_category_blog_layout($layout, $context){ if($context == 'archive') $layout = 'blog-grid'; return $layout; }
But how can I edit the page though? I want a return button and the possibility for my readers to check out another category without having to return to the main-blog page. I know I could use a sidebar, but is there any other way?
May 29, 2024 at 3:32 pm #1446951I decided to use a sidebar. Topic can be closed
