Hello,
Is there a way to have the word “NEWS” in the url of a blog article e.g.
instead of http://imerys-refractoryminerals.com/2016-partners-progress-award/ my client wants to see > http://imerys-refractoryminerals.com/news/2016-partners-progress-award/
I can’t figure out how to do this. A SEO specialist is asking for it as all blog articles are in the root of the site and you can’t set an “article” parent to a “news page”.
It seems to be better like this for SEO reasons.
I hope this was clear;
Best,
Hi Anma,
If it’s a new blog post you can easily create a category “news” and change the permalink (Settings -> permalink) to:
/%category%/%postname%/
Please don’t forget to set each post to the “news” category.

Hi,
Thank you for using Enfold.
You can try @madebymates suggestion and then install the following plugin so that you can select which category to display in the permalink: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-category-permalink/
Best regards,
