Please use a plugin such as this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/ to have more control over the content you share on Facebook :)
Best regards,

I already have Yoast. I know I can set pictures there, but each blog will have another picture. This can be set with creating an new post. Is it not possible to send this picture with the blog post instead of a fixed logo?

I’m not sure I understand your last question, could you try to explain a bit further or rephrase the question please?

My blog post looks like this:
When I post this on facebook using the F icon below the post, i get this:
This is also how it appears in facebook.
Now I have two questions,
1. How can I have the picture above the post ( the bycicle ) together with my blog on Facebook
2. If this is not possible, why do i get such a low resolution, cut off pic from my logo. For this question I made a separate question/log on this formum on which i did not get an answer. It is not clear where the system gets this bad picture from. I tried everything, setting in Yoast, tried differetn pics to upload in Yoast, changed my logo to try if its coming fro mthere, but also not. So where does the system take this pic from.
regards

May 17, 2017 at 3:12 pm #794911Hi Dick,
Thanks for the clarification. It looks like it’s fetching the first image it can find on the page, which is your logo. That leads me to think that you haven’t set the image you actually want to display using Yoast? Could you double check that it’s actually set? I’ve used that functionality hundreds of times and it works every time :-)

ok, thanks,
These are my settings:The image here is a jpg 18kb which looks great at the size the distorted facebook image.
What am I doing wrong?

DickMay 18, 2017 at 6:43 am #795264Hi Dick,
Ok, thanks for that. What is the actual size of the image? 18kb sounds like it’s quite small. I searched for their recommended image sizes and it looks like they recommend a minimum of 1200 pixels width:
Use images that are at least 1200 x 630 pixels for the best display on high resolution devices
Could you try using a larger resolution image to see if that helps? https://www.google.com/search?q=facebook+share+image+size&oq=facebook+share+image+&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0l5.9418j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
