On this new site Im putting up this page:

Has a blog layout and is set to show only the category ‘blog’ but it is showing posts from the category Events which is functioning properly and showing only those posts here:
Can’t figure why the blog page also shows events posts.

Thank you for the inquiry.
We have set the Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Layout settings to “Use the Advanced Layout Builder”, so the blog now utilizes the content created in the builder. It should now correctly display posts that are configured or selected in the Blog Posts element.
