    I have looked at all the threads but I am still unsuccessful. My settings are:

    theme options set to ‘Blog’,

    blog style ‘single author, small preview Pic’,

    have added a 1/2 page blog element with settings for excerpt’,

    but still get a full length blog article on the Blog page.

    Have tried then changing the theme options to no Blog setting, also with out success.

    I have tried also taking out the blog element, also unsuccessful

    I am trying to just make the blog articles show excerpts only on the Blog page. I tried adding the excerpt text for each blog post in the excerpt screen options, also unsuccessful.

    Could you tell me please how to just show excerpts on the blog page? Many thanks.

    Hi damatia,

    The theme uses the more tag to designate where WordPress cuts off the text for previews. See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
