I know that Enfold does not natively allow users to filter blog posts by selecting more than one category. However, we would like to know if there is a free plugin that offers this feature.

    Hey Mikel,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

Are you referring to the post navigation? Please provide a link to a test page so we can better understand what you’re trying to do.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Yes, we are referring to the categories displayed when expanding the portfolio items, etc. We would like to know if there is an option that allows users to select multiple categories simultaneously. In other words, when selecting more than one category, the block would display the items associated with those categories.

We’ve included a link as a reference. It’s not the website we’ll be working on, but we believe it could serve as a valid example to give you an idea of what we’re referring to.

you are not talking about the blog Element of Enfold?
even a conditional logic is present to show post if the got one of those categories or only if they have all of them.

We’d like to know if there’s a way to achieve what we described in the example using Enfold, either natively or with a free, tested plugin. In this case, it’s for the portfolio items of a website we’re currently developing locally on localhost. Specifically, we’d like to know if there’s a filtering option of this kind — one that displays all categories and allows users to select multiple categories from the filter simultaneously.

may be this is one you can try – but it is not free – see https://awplife.com/demo/blog-filter-premium/multi-filter-or-logic/

i think the non premium filter doesn’t have this multi filter logic. https://wordpress.org/plugins/blog-filter/

Alright, thank you for the support provided. We will try to explore another alternative or structure.

    Hi,

You can try the FacetWP plugin, but it will require additional modifications to the theme. For this type of customizations, you can contact Codeable.

    Hello,

We had already considered the FacetWP plugin, but it doesn’t seem to meet our requirements. So, as we understand it, there are no other free options or plugins available that could fill this gap.

    Thank you for your support.

    Hi,

FacetWP is one of the most advanced filtering and sorting plugins available for WordPress. If it doesn’t meet your requirements, there may not be better alternatives. However, you can try the plugins listed below.

Thank you for your support ;)

After conducting several tests in local environments, we have decided to implement the Filter & Grids plugin, as it allows us to replicate the functionality provided by the Divi Filter plugin mentioned in our example.
