Hi – Please see http://pages.sanesolution.com/.
Note that after 9 blog posts, the preview picture to the right of the title stops showing.
How can we ensure that all of the blog posts have their pictures showing to the left of the title consistently?
August 20, 2015 at 6:51 pm #491008Hi stunna42!
Did you make sure to set a featured image for those posts? In the source code this is what I see.
<img width="180" height="180" src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODdhAQABAPAAAP///wAAACwAAAAAAQABAEACAkQBADs=" data-lazy-type="image" data-lazy-src="http://pages.sanesolution.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/IMG_9499-320x180-180x180.jpg" class="lazy lazy-hidden attachment-square wp-post-image data-lazy-ready" alt="Starvation Is NOT Healthy. Stop counting calories & go #SANE w/me at http://SANESolution.com">
Which is pretty weird. Try deactivating all of your plugins to see what happens.
Best regards,
ElliottAugust 20, 2015 at 7:09 pm #491022Thanks Elliott. Yes…they all have featured images and all of them…including the posts which are showing up correctly have this ALT text on their featured images which explains some of the odd source you were seeing: Starvation Is NOT Healthy. Stop counting calories & go #SANE w/me at http://SANESolution.com
We tried the plugin deactivation. But it didn’t help.
We think it’s a theme issue given that all the posts are setup the same but only some show the photo as we’ve setup in the blog settings of the theme
August 21, 2015 at 4:54 pm #491487Hey!
What is the specific alt text your adding? It’s probably breaking the markup. It should only be pure text in there with no tags.
Cheers!
ElliottAugust 21, 2015 at 6:33 pm #491538Hi Elliott – If the alt text was the issue, shouldn’t the issue reproduce on all posts with featured images containing that alt text? I ask because that’s not what’s happening. All the posts and all the featured images are all the same from a theme perspective, yet as you can see at http://pages.sanesolution.com, the preview pictures simply stop showing at some point as you scroll down the page.
Can you help here?
August 24, 2015 at 4:42 am #492003Hey!
Is there any lazy load plugin installed?
Looks like the image source is being replaced by something else. Please try to deactivate all plugins then test it again.

IsmaelAugust 24, 2015 at 10:38 pm #492526Hi Ismael – Did you see my previous reply? We tried deactivating plugins and it didn’t help. Also if the alt text was the issue, shouldn’t the issue reproduce on all posts with featured images containing that alt text? Right now, the first 7 posts work just fine despite having the same alt text as all the other posts
August 25, 2015 at 10:52 am #492775Hi,
Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also, do we have permission to deactivate plugins for testing purposes?
Thanks,
RikardAugust 26, 2015 at 4:13 pm #493661Hi Rikard – Thank you and happy to provide this info.
The site in question is live and our business depends on it remaining functional.
Because of this, I’m happy to provide admin login access, but can you please verify that *no* changes to the site or plugins will be made?
My hope is that you can spot the issue and let us know what to do so that we can do it in a sandbox to ensure our customers and business are not negatively impacted
