    Hi,

    Strange issue here, when you look at this blog posts page: https://epostle.net/the-next-step

    You will see that after the episode: Next Step #739, the excerpt is no longer displayed.

    I have looked at the posts that work and don’t and can not see a difference for the content.

    Any idea why the excerpt stops being displayed for the older posts starting at #738 which is titled: Bee Dreams?

    Hi Support,
    not sure what’s going on, usually when I post a question, there is a response within 24 hours.

    I already bumped my question on day two as it went unanswered and buried.

    I am bumping again on day three, is it just going missed or has support changed?

    I hope not as I just paid the renewal fee to get support extended just to ask this question.

    Hopefully three times is a charm :-)

    Hi,
    Thank you for your patience and the link to your site, I’m not sure why this is occurring try updating your site to v5.6 and if this doesn’t help try disabling your plugins and checking again. If this doesn’t help try changing the post “Shooting Star” to draft as this is the last post before the error, while I don’t see an error with this post, typically this is a way to isolate the post causing the issue. Or try changing the “Bee Dreams” post to draft.
    Please note that when you “bump” a thread it moves it to the bottom of our list making it look newer than the other threads. Typically we try to help with the oldest threads first.

    Hi,
    So I went to go update the Enfold theme however it is not offering the option as it states “you are running the latest version which is 5.0.1

    However, Enfold is at 5.6.2

    When I click Check Manually, it says I am up to date.

    Any suggestions how to resolve this issue?

    Hi Mike,

    I uploaded the Envato Market Plugin as you suggested and it did update the theme although the problem of posts starting at #738 and on still do not show the text excerpts. Would the next step be to see if it is a plugin conflict even though that does not really make sense to me?

    Hi,
    Yes, please Try disabling your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
    If this doesn’t help try changing the post #738 to draft so it will not load, I assume this was the post “Shooting Star”, if this doesn’t help also try changing the one before it and after it to draft and see if that helps.
