    Hi,

    Some of the blog posts are showing in a very strange way. The whole website is in white background but I have one post that is showing with a dark grey background and makes the text unreadable.

    I can not make the sidebars work properly as well.
    I added 3 items to the Sidebar Blog widget: http://d.pr/i/1kLkO/1LdC8Qm0 and made these settings in the child theme: http://d.pr/i/1gCbC/5Otx8wu9 as defaults. The sidebars are not displaying properly where I want: Main blog page and single post pages.

    Please check the links in private and let me know what can be wrong.

    Thank you

    Hi sitesme!

    Please upgrade to Enfold v3.1.2 and see if things get better.

    If not try this for your background:

    body div .first, body div .no_margin {
    background-color: white;
    }

    For your sidebar:
    Go into the blog pages and edit them. Scroll down to “Layout” (on the right side):

    Make sure all your settings are correct there.
    If they are correct, then please deactivate all plugins to see if one is causing this issue.

    Cheers!
    Andy

    Thank you Andy,

    I was not sure what was the problem as nothing solved it. I re-created the post from scratch and it is all ok now.

    Regarding the sidebars on blog posts only, is there a way to make all post pages look the same using a general rule for all, instead of a rule for each post? I tried through these settings http://d.pr/i/1gCbC/5Otx8wu9 but doesn’t seem to be working. I still need to change each post to make it work.

    Thank you

    Hi!

    If you set the “Sidebar on single post entries” in Dashboard > Enfold > Sidebar settings then it should be the default behaviour when you create a new post. You can always edit each post individually and override that setting though so keep that in mind.

    If it’s still not working then let’s try the following.

    1. Deactivate all plugins and clear your cache.

    2. Completely delete Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.

    If it’s still not working after those two steps then send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a look.

    Regards,
    Elliott

    Thank you Elliott,
    I will override the settings on each post if they do not follow the default behaviour, might be easier.

    Many thanks for now.
