Blog Posts Content Element Pagination Issue

I have created a page to host my blog posts using the Blog Posts Content Element. I am currently running WP 4.4.2 and Enfold 3.3.2 (with a child theme). Unfortunately the pagination on my Blog Posts Content Element is not working.

I have been reluctant to update Enfold after updating WP on the weekend and needing to roll back because of incompatibilities.

I tried editing the canonical.php as suggested here:

That didn’t work and so I reverted back to the original canonical.php.

I thought I would try replacing the blog.php file as suggested here:

However I don’t know where to locate the blog.php file. Can you please help?

Or should I try replacing the query.php as suggested here:

I can at least find the query.php file :-)

Would really appreciate your advice and assistance.
