    Hello,

    since updating Enfold 4.8.3 to 4.8.4 (and ongoing versions incl. 4.8.6.1) the overview of the latest blog posts on our main page is not working correctly – as well as our header.
    how blog & header look after the update
    header after the update
    see here in contrast: how the website should look, with 4.8.3

    What can I do to fix this?

    Blog Post not working after update:

    <div class="entry-content" itemprop="text">.flex_column.av-4ue63y-ce0a2c6d8bd022cfa25db2ac111a7489{
    border-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;
    -webkit-border-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;
    -moz-border-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;
    }

    Blogpost working before update:

    <div class=”entry-content” itemprop=”text”><h1 class=”av-special-heading-tag ” itemprop=”headline”>Müde und schwere Beine – Ursachen und Hilfe</h1>
    Müde und schwere Beine treten häufig in den Sommermonaten auf. Bei Wärme können sich unsere Gefäße weiten und das Blut fließt langsamer. Fehlt den Venen Elastizität und Kraft, gelangt das […] <br><br>Weiterlesen > </div>

    I wasn’t sure which part might be relevant regarding the header problem.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hey AktivApo,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    It seems to be displaying the custom style of the columns instead of the post excerpt. Where can we the issue? Please post the site details in the private field including an admin account. We would like to check the page and the theme options.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    The css styles are no longer displaying in the post excerpt. How did you fix it? Please toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after any theme update.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    Thanks for your reply! It is not fixed! Just rolled back to Enfold 4.8.3 until there is a solution.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    I see. Do you have a staging version of the site? We might be able to figure what is going on with the posts excerpt if we could directly inspect the site.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    We don’t have a typical staging version, where I can easily give access to. Is there another option?

    Thanks for your time,
    Melanie

    Hi,

    Try to update the theme again to the latest version, then make sure to toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings. You should also update the page containing the Blog Posts element and purge the cache. Unfortunately, we will not be able to help you further if we cannot inspect the issue.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    thank you! I will try this. Otherwise I’ll create an accessible staging environment.

    Best regards,
    Melanie

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    We cannot see the same issue on the staging site. The shortcodes or custom styles are not displaying in the excerpt container as shown in the screenshot below.

    Do we have to adjust an option or change a specific setting in order to see the issue?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    it shows now! Just the Enfold update was needed. We fixated the old working version before. Now it’s the current version with the problems:
    – header with shop button
    – blog posts

    You can see our normal website as comparison to the staging.

    Best regards,
    Melanie

    Hi,

    In the phone info field, the span tag has been replaced with div, so this css rule no longer applies.

    .phone-info span {
        display: inline-block;
        line-height: 1em;
        width: 100%;
        text-align: center !important;
        margin-top: 9px;
    }

    This is the original markup in the phone field.

    <span>
    <div style="display:flex;">
    <div style="width:80%;height:40px;border-right:2px solid white;margin-top:-15px;background:#e8e8e8;margin-left:-6px; color:#777"></div>
    <div style="width:20%;min-width:200px;height:40px;background:#d80019;text-align:center;color:white;margin-top:-15px;padding-top:14px;margin-right:-80px;"> <a style="color:white;text-decoration:none;font-size:14px;font-family:inherit;" href="https://www.shop.aktiv-apotheken.de/" target="_blank">zum Apotheken-Shop</a> <span class="avia_button_icon avia_button_icon_right" style="display:inline; margin-left:0.5em;" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello"> </span></div>
    </div>
    </span>

    And in the staging site.

    <div>
    <div style="display:flex;">
    <div style="width:80%;height:40px;border-right:2px solid white;margin-top:-15px;background:#e8e8e8;margin-left:-6px; color:#777"></div>
    <div style="width:20%;min-width:200px;height:40px;background:#d80019;text-align:center;color:white;margin-top:-15px;padding-top:14px;margin-right:-80px;"> <a style="color:white;text-decoration:none;font-size:14px;font-family:inherit;" href="https://www.shop.aktiv-apotheken.de/" target="_blank">zum Apotheken-Shop</a> <span class="avia_button_icon avia_button_icon_right" style="display:inline; margin-left:0.5em;" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello"> </span></div>
    </div>
    </div>

    Best regards,
    Ismael
