    Hi,
    I just noticed that if I use the Avia Layout builder for an article, the theme does not recognize it as such. If I just write HTML it is fine but otherwise it does not work. Meaning, the excerpt does not work on my front page either.
    Do you know how to make it work ?

    Hello!

    Thank you for the link.  Which section of the homepage do you encounter this problem? Is it the grid under VIDÉOS ET ACTUALITÉS?

    The theme should recognize articles created with Avia Layout Builder. Can you elaborate more to help us understand the problem? Thank you so much!

    Hello,

    Yes that’s it.
    Well I tried to write a blog post using the Avia layout builder and as you can see on the page, and the excerpt is not working. But I wrote one post completely with HTML and the excerpt works.
    You can see the posts on the link I sent you, you have “Articles” and “Recettes” that I did with Avia, and “Videos” that I did with HTML. I don’t understand why it does not recognize the one I did with Avia as a blog post.

    Hi,

    When using the Layout Builder for posts then they will act like pages instead, and you will have to add all content to them manually. If you are looking to add an excerpt to the post then please select Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the screen and check the Excerpt option. You will then be able to add the excerpt below the builder box.

    All right thank you, the excerpt is working now. But people cannot comment on the post then. Is there a way to add the comment section or is the only option to add the content manually to an article ?

    Hi,

    You can add Comments element under Content elements of Advanced Layout Builder to the bottom of your post that you have created using Advanced Layout Builder.
    But I see that you have the Comment Boxes in your articles now. Were you able to figure this out, then? :)

    It was working because I was not using the Avia layout builder but instead I was writing in HTML, but your method works perfectly, thank you very much !!
