On a client’s website, I have noticed that the social sharing buttons behave differently in iOS than in android and in a desktop browser. In the browser, a caption appears on rollover and a click shares via social media. On an android a tap opens up the social media app right away. However on iOS a tap displays the caption, requiring another tap to perform the social media share. I’ve tried this on an iPad and an iPhone 7. It’s a bit annoying to have to double tap and I was wondering if anyone encountered this quirk and had a fix for it. TIA!
