    Hello,

    I’m having trouble getting a preview excerpt to display for my blog posts on the blog page. I can see the “read more” link on the front end, but no content is being displayed. I have built my posts with the avia layout builder and they include more than just text, so I am assuming this is a contributing factor. Is there any way to define the preview excerpt for each post?

    Hey Julia,

    When using the Layout Builder for posts then all content needs to be added manually, that includes the excerpt. You can fill out the excerpt field with the text of your choice, if you don’t see it then please select to show under Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the screen.
