Hello,
I think we just updated our Theme, right? Today for the first time, the published blog post doesn’t show up on my http://www.dominiquehurley.com/blog/ page, but it is on my Home Page. I didn’t do anything different. How can I troubleshoot this? Thanks.
The missing post is http://www.dominiquehurley.com/a-winters-prayer-and-painting/
January 24, 2017 at 3:38 pm #737791Hey!
You are currently using Enfold 3.8.2 while the latest version is currently 3.8.4 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
If updating the theme does not help, can you please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately? Also, please let us know if we are allowed to deactivate all active plugins for testing purposes.
Cheers!
YigitJanuary 24, 2017 at 3:41 pm #737792Hi Yigit, It says in my Enfold Theme that there are no updates available and that I’m running 3.8.4
I’ll look for my passwords – I’m traveling right now.
January 24, 2017 at 3:44 pm #737794OK – see private content below.
PLEASE DO NOT post a test post as all my subscribers will receive an email notification. If you do de-activate plug-ins, please put everything back as was after. I’m not very techy. Thank you.
January 24, 2017 at 5:47 pm #737856P.S. I wrote it and pre-scheduled it before updating the theme. I tried “Updating” the post in “Edit Post”, but that didn’t add it to the blog page.
January 24, 2017 at 5:50 pm #737860Oh – and just noticed that the one from last Tuesday isn’t showing either. There are 2 missing on the blog page. Not sure how that relates to the timing of the Theme Update.
Another thing that is strange is that when I’m on the Blog page, the black bar at the top with things like “Edit Post” is missing. It’s usually at the top of all my pages and posts. But right now, it’s not there. Not sure if it’s because you’re working on it. 10:50am EST.

January 24, 2017 at 7:50 pm #737906Hi – I had also posted the issue on WordPress . org forum in case the issue originated from there. Here’s what they say, but I don’t know about these:
Your site uses Endurance Page Cache. Please clear that cache. If this plugin was installed by your host, please contact their tech support to find out how to clear it.
+
If you if have MOJO Marketplace active from Performance you can disable the page cache from there. When you re-activate it, it will recreate the page cache with new data.January 24, 2017 at 11:35 pm #737997Hi!
If you are hosting on BlueHost, it seems to be a caching on their side. Please contact them and ask if that is the case and if so to flush it.
Best regards,
YigitFebruary 9, 2017 at 10:42 pm #745119Hi – Just in case this helps you, this problem happened again right after I updated the Enfold Theme. So not sure if it’s an Enfold or a Bluehost issue. Thanks.
P.S. If you decide to test, please don’t publish a test post as all my subscribers will get it.
February 9, 2017 at 11:00 pm #745124Hey!
That is an issue related to BlueHost as it seems and their local cache
Can you please try contact them?Best regards,
BasilisFebruary 10, 2017 at 12:00 am #745139Even if it happened twice after updating your theme? I will contact Bluehost, but the timing seemed linked.
February 14, 2017 at 3:57 pm #746935Hi,
let us know what they’re going to reply to you.
Best regards,
AndyFebruary 14, 2017 at 4:00 pm #746939I can’t remember the exact wording, but it had something to do with my move to their cloud hosting and caching, as you suggested. They changed something in my account and told me it shouldn’t happen again. Yay! Thanks again for your help
February 18, 2017 at 12:26 pm #748826Hi!
Your site uses Endurance Page Cache. Please clear that cache. If this plugin was installed by your host, please contact their tech support to find out how to clear it.
The blog page is probably cached or an old version was served from a content delivery network, that’s why you can’t see the latest blog posts. Anyway, glad that it is fixed now. Please let us know if you encounter the issue again.
Cheers!
