    My blog posts are not showing author, date, social links or related items. I’ve gone thru all the options and nothing helps. I need help.

    I’m using version 3.1.3, upgrading to 3.1.5 now… don’t see any related fixes on the changelog. Any help is appreciated.

    Hey emorales!

    It looks like your using the advanced layout editor there. If you want the posts to display like regular posts instead of pages then you’ll want to use the default editor instead.

    The advanced layout editor is for users who need complete control over how their posts display.

    Hi Elliot, thank you. I did not know that when using the advanced editor you loose post information and related posts. But I don’t understand, so you gain functionality but loose display information? I’m looking at the demo pages, for example: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/2014/04/28/new-studies-show-vacations-are-needed/

    There’s no clue to that… can you please clarify. Do I have to re-write all my posts with the standard editor?

    Hi!

    The post you linked to is using the default editor. If you want your posts to look like that then it would be best to use the default editor instead of the advanced layout editor.

    If you want to use the advanced layout editor then you will need to add those separate elements in manually. We also have a comments element and social share element that you can add to your posts if your using the advanced layout editor to make them look similar to the regular posts.
