    Hi I have a site that needs to pull out posts and show it on the page that i created which is this

    and it seems that it is not showing the content though i have set it up into full content
    and sometimes to excerp setting i tried different options but still it is not showing. please help

    Hi,

    The details didn’t work unfortunately, could you check them please? If you have used the ALB for posts then what you are seeing is the expected behaviour. You will have to manually input the excerpt in each post, if you don’t see the excerpts field then click screen options in the top right hand corner of the edit screen and select to show it there.

    Hey,

    Thanks for the details, they worked now. I see you’ve used the Advanced Layout Builder for that post so it’s the expected behaviour, if you want the “regular” look then please switch to the default editor. You can also add the excerpt manually if you want to keep on using the ALB, if you don’t see the Excerpt box then click Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the edit screen and select to show it there.

    Hi Rikard,

    thanks for being around addressing to my concerns

    is it possible to make it like this

    that in this link where my blog post will be they will be like showing a part of the blog and then when they clicked
    the read more link they will be directed to the main post page.

    cause right now what is showing is only the title and read more link. My boss wanted to make it like it has sa summary of what the posts are then a link that will show where the main post is.
