please have a look on http://www.dumaguete.com. Before the footer are 3 blog posts. the right one never works. it always redirects to the frontpage.
even if I enter the URL manually, it redirects to the frontpage. http://www.dumaguete.com/valencia-fiesta-2014
as soon I have a new post, the previous url is working and the new is now redirecting.I also change the order of the 3 blog-feeds. always the right one is not working and redirecting to the frontpage

October 4, 2014 at 12:20 pm #330183Hey!
Are you using a redirection plugin? If so, try disabling it.
Otherwise try disabling all third-party plugins to see if it gets fixed.
Cheers!
ArvishOctober 4, 2014 at 3:15 pm #330206DId that already, same
deactivated all plugins, same.
always last right not working.October 5, 2014 at 10:22 am #330426Here is what I did in the meantime.
I created an identical post (different URL) with a different date and made a temporary redirect to the working one.
However, I don’t think this should be the final solution.cheers
October 6, 2014 at 4:17 am #330686Hi!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Please create a test page without the redirect. Use the same template as the homepage. If possible, please remove the script which disables mouse events (right click). We need to inspect it. Make sure that you’re running Enfold 3.0 with WordPress 4.0.

IsmaelOctober 7, 2014 at 11:15 am #331489Here you go:
http://dumaguete.com/testpage/
this is the last section of the original frontpage. The right blog-feed redirects to the frontpage and not to the post.
Actually after publishing it was working for about half a day, now it is not working anymore.

Thank you for the update.
Looks like it’s only happening on one specific post (Bureau of Immigration – Alien Registration Project (ARP). I created a test post to replace the the post on third column and it works fine. http://dumaguete.com/testpage/. Not sure why it redirects you to the home page though. Try to delete that post then create it from scratch.

IsmaelOctober 8, 2014 at 4:46 am #332094Well you did not tell me any news, after 5 days if you read my initial problem. That is exactly what i said, and we moved no cm.
your suggestion makes no sense and was tried already
Like I said in my initial post it is ALWAYS happening on the post in right feed. If I post a new one, it is working for a few hours, after that the exact same problem. it gets redirected to the frontpage.
and it is the same in the old or the new version.of enfold
October 8, 2014 at 11:15 am #332273Hey!
Regenerated your .htaccess file by going to Settings>Permalinks and clicking save.
This seems to have fixed the issue. Could you please check and confirm.
Best regards,
ArvishOctober 8, 2014 at 12:37 pm #332323nope, no changes
http://dumaguete.com/bureau-immigration-alien-registration-project-arp/ (the original post)
still redirects to frontpage
This is the 4th time it happens, always with the right feed, the others are fine- This reply was modified 10 years, 2 months ago by Rhoody.
October 9, 2014 at 5:16 am #332900Hi!
I’m sorry if the suggestion doesn’t make sense to you. If you check here: http://dumaguete.com/testpage/
It has been more than 24 hours and the test post doesn’t redirect you to the home page. Not sure why this post (Bureau of Immigration – Alien Registration Project (ARP)) does though. Maybe because of the SEO options which tends to cause redirection issue on some installations.
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 9, 2014 at 6:15 am #332947Well, as mentioned before, it is not only one time it happens.
I double posted the last 3 articles in a row ( supposed to be in the the right feed),. Now you double posted my article
Another member has the same issue.Posting each article 2 times is NO solution
I really don’t think “I don’t know, it just happens sometimes ” is an acceptable answer from your side, Sorry, but that’s not good enough
October 9, 2014 at 6:43 am #332966Hi!
Let us know if the Test Post on the “right feed” on the third column redirects you to the home page after some time. For now, we’re not sure why the specific post (http://dumaguete.com/bureau-immigration-alien-registration-project-arp/) is redirecting you to the home page. I’ll ask the rest of the support team to take a look.
Have you tried deleting that particular post then create it from scratch?
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 9, 2014 at 7:05 am #332978Thanks for your response, I appreciate your effort, hopefully we find a solution somewhere, somehow.
Now I changed the title of the post from testpage to Bureau of Immigration – ARP (Alien Registration Project) so different to the “not working”
and filled in the SEO stuff and your post is not working anymore, redirecting to the frontpage like the initial problem…
URL is now:
dumaguete.com/bureau-immigration-arp-alien-registration-project –> redirecting to Frontpageadditional, the my original post is now not working at all anymore, not even redirecting, but creating an error
Cheers
October 9, 2014 at 7:33 am #332989October 9, 2014 at 7:45 am #332991your created post was gone (redirect) after I added the SEO option.
The original “redirict” was showing error after I configured your post.
However, I also posted another new post today which is in a different category and the feed is on the left side. This works without issue. it is only the right one which shows this behavior.
The left and the middle one are working correct.
Cheers

October 10, 2014 at 9:23 am #333741Hey!
In my opinion, I believe the redirection function of your SEO utility might be the culprit here. As Ismael said and I conquer, the post he create and I verified was working fine. Therefore, I have no other choice but to conclude that the SEO plugin is messing up the redirection.
I am referring this issue to Kriesi as well to have a look but I would also strongly advise contacting the SEO plugin developer for support.
Could you please forward us your FTP details so that we could have a closer look.
If there is any other help you require regarding the theme in the meantime, please let us know. We will gladly assist.
We will keep you posted as soon as we find a solution to this issue.
Best regards,
ArvishOctober 14, 2014 at 8:14 pm #335726Hi!
Wanted to ask: since it obviously does not happen right now: what exactly did you do to remove the problem.
Also can you re-create it on your server once more (problem is I can’t on my testinstallation and I am not sure if the other thread mentioned has the same problem because over there I was able to fix it by simply changing the permalink structure)Best regards,
Kriesi -
