    Hi –

For some reason, one of my blog posts disappears (and is un-editable) when I open up Posts > Blog Entry
It appears initially but if I try to switch to Default Editor, the text disappears. Further, if I click on the entry to open up Advanced Layout Editor, there is no text there. The blog looks fine on my external site. It seems to only happen with one post (so far).

Any ideas? I’ll provide the login details I created for your team previously.

    Thanks!

    Hey wanderglow,

This isn`t a bug because the text block from the Advanced Layout Builder is separated from the default text block, so, if you write your text in the default editor, it only is showed there.

    Thanks John!

That makes sense, however, when I click to edit in the Default Editor, the text disappears. It only disappears in the editor, however, not on my blog.

So basically, the text is un-editable in Advanced Layout Editor or Default Editor.

Any other ideas? The post shows up on my site, but looks really bad so I need to fix it. :)

    Thanks!

    Hi,

You can’t switch between the two editor. If you created the post with the default editor, stick with the default editor, same goes for the advance layout builder.

Hi Ismael- Thanks for the reply. Maybe I am not being clear – the post is not editable in EITHER editor now. I am not able to edit the post in either editor as the content completely disappears in both Default AND Advanced Editors. Thanks. Please have a look to see.

    Hi,

We managed to recover the content from the actual post. It’s full of html tags. Please make sure that every tags are closed properly. And refrain from switching between the two editors.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

ok- thanks so much! Any idea how it would get full of HTML tags? I don’t even know how to do that….Maybe it was from me switching between the two editors. Thank you!

    Hi,

I think the editor generated those html tags automatically. Anyway, please refrain from switching between the two editors in the future. After the post or page creation, choose the editor and stick with that to prevent this issue from happening.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
