    When clinking on the Author link in the blog page, it defaults to the home page https://drreno.com/blog/
    Is this supposed to be an author page based on the user set up as an author?

    Hey Shane,

    If you hover over the link the you will see that the links actually points to the author page, but it looks to be redirecting. Do you have any redirection plugins active maybe? You could try to reset your permalink settings under Settings->Permalinks to see if that makes any difference.

    Yes, it is redirecting, just wondering why. I don’t have any redirect plugins and played around with the permalinks with no luck. Checked htaccess, no redirects.

    Do you have a security plugin that maybe disables the author pages and redirects them to the homepage?
    Or maybe did you insert something to your functions.php or .htaccess to disable author pages?

    I do not have a security plugin, I debugged functions.php, and htaccess. No dice.

    There is definetly something redirecting the author page.
    This url with author apendix is also redirected to the homepage: https://drreno.com/?author=1
    So i would assume it’s not redirecting based on the url but on author pages.

    Did you try deactivating all plugins? (or one by one)
    Did you try temporarily renaming the functions.php so it doesn’t affect the site?
    What happens if you add another author and test post … same?

    Hi,

    One of the plugins is causing the authors’ page to redirect, but I’m not sure which one.
    In order to find the plugin, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
    2. Activate one plugin at a time and refresh until you find the plugin in conflict.
