    Hi,

    I have a blog page set up in the multi-author blog style. The correct page is listed as blog in both the Settings>Reading>Front pages displays menu as well as the Customise your front page>static Menu. The home page is also set in these options and is a different page to the blog page.

    So I’ve posted a blog and it all looks fantastic on the blog page, with a picture and the first few lines of the post visible. But when I click to see the full post, I find myself back on my homepage. When I access the posts from the backend, the permalink is set as my homepage, not an off-shoot of the blog page as I specified in the slug but I have no options to change it. Do I need to change the code somewhere and if so please can I have step-by-step instructions on how to? I’m a complete novice! I’ve also tried disabling the plug-ins one by one but nothing came of that.

    Hey!

    Please only choose your front and blog page in Enfold theme options – http://i.imgur.com/aIouhmT.png and not in Settings > Reading and check if that helps.

    No luck on that I’m afraid Yigit.

    I’m pretty sure the issue is that the permalink for the individual blog post is by default the home page. However, on the blog post page in the backend there’s no option to change the permalink as there is for individual pages in the rest of the site. Do I need to tweak the code somewhere or is there another menu I’m missing?

    Hi Emma!

    Please go to Users > Add New and create a new user with Administrator role. You can use (Email address hidden if logged out) email address to register the new user but please post login credentials here privately ( by checking “Set as private reply (Only you and moderators will see the content of this post)” above Submit button ) so any available moderator can look into it.

    Permalink was set to broken “Custom Structure”, i switched it “Post Name” and it does work fine now. Please review your website
