My website has many blog categories. When you click on a blog post, it loads the grid view of the category with no category title. How do I control what the generic blog page looks like for each category?

Could you post a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please?

AndyJanuary 6, 2017 at 5:34 am #730164Thanks, Dashboard > Enfold > Blog Layout doesn’t allow you to create category pages that have the category title before the category blog posts. It would be great if Enfold made it easy to have a category ‘title’ page in a future upgrade. Customizing causes problems with future theme updates.
The customizing option mentioned in the link is to edit the archive.php file and use the do_shortcode function, https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/do_shortcode, to create your own layout. I don’t see step by step instructions so it’s unclear what steps to take.
January 7, 2017 at 1:15 pm #730688Hi,
this is not about Enfold, but about general WordPress behavior. So please refer to general WordPress support about it. If you need help about it, then you could hire a freelance developer for this job: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization
If you want to make a feature request for Kriesi, you can do this here: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

January 14, 2017 at 6:36 am #733464Hi,
The archive or category pages will display a title container by default if the Enfold > Header > Header Layout > Header Title and Breadcrumbs settings is enabled.
