Hello,
I am using a plugin called all in one event calendar which relies on blog posts to post full calendar entries. So far I have managed to hide the featured image from appearing at the top and also the meta information from the blog (calendar) entry. I do have an additional problem though and also a question.
The content of the blog entry (text area) is set to center align for some reason, even when I use styling to right align the text still gets pulled to the center.
Secondly, is there any way to apply a specific sidebar to a blog entry. Not a site wide sidebar – more of a category sidebar. For example. I have 8 calendar pages (these are categories) which because they are a page I can set a sidebar for each, however, when an event is opened fully it opens as a post entry so is there any way to specify sidebars for post entries?
Hope I have explained that well enough.
Thanks in advance
Andrew

You can add your widgets to Blog widget area in Appearance > Widgets http://i.imgur.com/lgpEO6B.jpg
Can you post the link to your website so we can inspect elements?Regards,
YigitDecember 11, 2013 at 8:45 pm #199185Hello Yigit,
Thanks for the reply. I have no problems with adding widgets to a blog (post) sidebar but the question was whether I can target a specific post with a specifically created sidebar, not just the basic sidebar which applies to ‘all’ blog posts.
For example, lets say I have a post entitled ‘this is my post a’ I want the widget sidebar for this post to be different from a post called ‘this is post b’
Hope that’s clear?
Thanks again,
Andrew

Sure, you can edit the post then look for Layout > Sidebar Setting > choose a widget area. You can create a custom widget area on Appearance > Widgets > Enfold Custom Widget Area.
Cheers!
IsmaelDecember 12, 2013 at 2:46 pm #199487Hello Ismael,
:-) It seems the all-in-one calendar plugin has confused me somewhat. I too was under the impression that sidebars could be added/changed on a per post basis but when I was looking at the posts page there is no option. I now realise that the plugin uses it’s own post page format (not the standard one) which is where the confusion comes in because there is no sidebar setting in the layout option.
Please close this, I didn’t realise it wasn’t an Enfold issue/question.
Thanks
Andrew
