Hi,
I installed and activated the Enfold theme on my exsisting WordPress site. Very happy about most of it! But still a problem or two to solve with the blog page…
1. How can I not show pages on my blog page? When I choose the grid format, the blog page is showing pages and blog posts. I just want it to show blog. (I saw this same topic appeared in your forum in 2015. But I still can’t find a solution to this problem. )
2. The blog shows excerpts, while I would only like to show titel and image. How / where can I change this?
What I tried so far:
– updated everything I could update
– deactivated all plug-ins
– deleted all non-used (though deactivated) plug-ins
– deleted the blogpage entirely and recreated it againPlease give me more ideas that might help me out.

Thank you for using Enfold.
The pages should not display in the blog page by default. Which of the pages are displaying? And what is the login url? I tried “wp-admin” but it’s not working.
Best regards,

A far as I can tell by the looks of it, all publiced pages are shown in the blog. You can recognize them easily, because no category is mentioned, as opposed to the blog articles.
The blogpage is called ‘Inspiratie’.I also found out the blog page tells me there are 7 pages with blog articles, but when I try, numbers 6 and 7 they give a 404 error.
The login url I had sent in a private content message after my last public message. It seems you didn’t receive it, so I will send it again in the private content with this message.
I hope it’s not a problem I use WordPress in Dutch ;)Really hope you can help me.
Kind regards,Nicole
April 4, 2018 at 5:35 am #936918Hi,
Thank you for the update. Did you apply categories to the pages at some point? Please try to optimize or clean the database.

IMPORTANT: Create a backup or a restore point before using the plugin.
Best regards,

Thank you so much. The WP-Sweep didn’t do the trick. I also tried to apply a new categorie to all my blog-posts and remove all other categories. Didn’t work either…
But due to your question about categories applied to pages, I found out that this was the case.
After a lot of searching and trying, the only sollution was to go back to the template in which the categories were added to the pages (Grow-Pro) and remove all the categories from all the pages there. Then back to Enfold and the pages were gone from the blog. Finally!Sometimes it just takes the right question to find the answer.
Grateful,
