    Hi I am having an issue trying to get the individual blog posts to have header images like the rest of the website.

    I have updated theme to latest 3.2.2 and running latest WP 4.2.2

    Theme is really awesome by the way!

    The issue is that when I try to setup the blog posts the same way as the pages, it destroys the layout and puts all the normal blog right sidebar information at the bottom of the page and reformats the text.

    It also seems like the client will not be able to remember all the steps needed to add the header the way I did.

    Is there a way to edit the header across all new blog posts so that they can be posted with ease?

    Also, there is a black bar at the top (of the blog pages) and I can’t seem to even get rid of that.

    Any help or options for suitable solutions would be much appreciate!

    Hi firelight76!

    I’m not sure exactly what you want to change in the header? Could you provide us with a screenshot highlighting your intentions maybe? We will probably need a temporary admin login as well, you can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Hi, I have included some screen shots to maybe help explain more what I am looking for.

    Every page on the website has an image in the header (not sure if you looked at couple links I sent earlier)

    The first screenshot shows a page that has image in header. looks good.

    The second screen shot is of an individual blog post, as you hopefully can see there is no image in the header.
    Instead there is a black bar at the top, sitting on the purple nav bar.

    I would like to have every blog post automatically be formatted to have an image in the header. So when Client posts a blog they don’t have to set an image header each and every time. I would like to know if that is possible, does that make sense? Also maybe you have another suggestion of how I can achieve that. I am simply trying to make the blog posts match the rest of the website.

    I am not necessarily trying the CHANGE anything in the header only add an IMAGE to the background of the header to MATCH the rest of the website. I hope that makes sense.

    Also, If this is not possible I would like to get rid of the black bar at least. or maybe have a solid color for header on the individual blog pages.

    Every other page on the site is good to go and looks great. You make an incredible theme!

    Maybe the template for individual blog posts can be tweaked, I am not sure, but I am open to suggestions!

    I have setup temp login for you if you need it.

    this is not theme function and you would need to search a plugin for it. Maybe something like this could help you:
